Some Things to Consider
Do I have relationship issues with my spouse, family or friends
that just may be caused by my drinking?
Have I tried to stop drinking, but I still end up doing so?
Do I need a drink to get ready to go out socially?
Have I needed to have an “eye-opener” upon awakening?
Do I need a drink to help take the edge off?
Have I had "blackouts," where I can’t remember what happened
and/or what I did?
Do I hide my beer or liquor?
Have I missed days of work or school because of drinking?
Do I envy people who can drink without getting into trouble?
Have I ever heard someone say that I was drinking too much?
Do I ask for “doubles” because I do not get enough?
Have I ever felt that my life would be better if I did not drink?
